The foundation stone of all of Artimplant´s products is the patented Artelon® technology, a biomaterial based on a polyurethane urea.

The main patent for the Artelon® technology was issued in Sweden in 1997 and in the USA in 2001.
Artimplant’s patent portfolio provides good patent protection for products and commercially promising candidate products on the company’s principal markets.

Textile construction of degradable polymer fiber for use as implant. The protection includes ACL Augmentation as well as future woven ligament products.

Porous films

Degradable films of polyurethaneurea for medical applications and the method for producing these.

Porous polymer material with an open pore structure and the technology for producing this.

Implant for reconstruction of joints.

Linear block polymer comprising urea and urethane groups, fibers made from linear block polymers and the use of the block polymers as implants.

Biodegradable osteochondral implant

A biodegradable osteochondral implant comprising a porous top and a porous bottom section separated by a barrier impermeable to agents that have detrimental effect on the regeneration of cartilage.
