Do you have patients with soft tissue injuries where you are less certain that the sutures will be able to maintain the repaired injury? Do you think there is an imminent risk of re-rupture?

Artelon® Tissue Reinforcement could assist in making the first repair the best repair possible.

The CE marked and US market cleared Artelon®/SportMesh™ Tissue Reinforcement is intended for use in general surgical procedures for reinforcement of soft tissue. It is also intended for reinforcement of soft tissues that are repaired by sutures or suture anchors, during tendon repair surgery including reinforcement of rotator cuff, patellar, Achilles, biceps, quadriceps.

The Achilles tendon is the most frequently ruptured tendon. Highly renowned surgical centers in Sweden are currently using Artelon® Tissue Reinforcement for repairing re-ruptured Achilles tendon.

At the 2007 annual meeting for the Swedish Society of Foot Surgeons, the first clinical case reports on spring ligament repair with the Artelon® Tissue Reinforcement from the Sahlgrenska University Hospital Mölndal were presented.

Artelon® Tissue Reinforcement can offer opportunities for unmet clinical needs in many indications.

Artelon® Tissue Reinforcement is CE marked and has market clearance in the US.
