Hans Rosén, born 1960

President

Mr. Rosén has served as CEO of Artimplant since 2006.

Mr. Rosén has extensive experience from marketing, sales and corporate management in the life science sector. Most recently Mr. Rosén was CEO of Vivolux AB, a drug development company within cancer therapeutics.

Former president of the listed company Diffchamb AB and has held leading positions in Neoventa and Chromogenix. Director of Vivolux AB and Ottonova AB.

Mr. Rosén holds an MSc in Industrial Engineering and Management from Chalmers University of Technology.

Mr. Cederbrant has experience in finance, management, business development and restructuring from international growth companies within the medical technology industry. He has among others been CEO of CardioBridge GmbH, CFO during the restructuring of JOMED N.V. and Management Consultant at Andersen Business Consulting.

Mr. Cederbrant studied MSc in International Business Administration at the University of Lund and at Leopold Franzen´s University of Innsbruck.

Katrin Gisselfält, born 1969

Vice President Product Development, Ph.D.

Dr. Gisselfält has been employed by Artimplant since 1995. She is one of the key scientists behind Artelon®.

Katrin Gisselfält holds a Ph.D. degree in Polymer Chemistry, Chalmers University of Technology, Gothenburg. The primary field of research has been synthesis, characterization and processing of degradable poly(urethane urea)s and their use as biomaterials.

Kauko Haapasaari, born 1958

Vice President, Sales and Marketing

Employed by Artimplant since 2007.

Mr Haapasaari has more than 24 years of experience in the life science business. Most recently he held the position as director of business development at Raisio Diagnostics. In the past Mr Haapasaari has mainly held marketing and sales positions at Conpharm, SP-Maskiner, Swedish Trade Council, Instrument Lambda and KabiVitrum.

Kauko Haapasaari holds a B.Sc in Chemical and Administrative Sciences.

Bengt Furberg, born 1941

Vice President Medical Affairs. M.D., Ph.D., Associate Professor

Dr. Furberg has been engaged as Vice President Medical Affairs since December 21, 2006.

Dr. Furberg has a wide-ranging medical background and long experience from the industry. For more than ten years Dr. Furberg was Medical Director of GlaxoWellcome Sweden and his latest assignment was as Medical Director of Bactiguard AB. He has many years experience of international requirements for obtaining regulatory clearances within pharmaceuticals and medical devices. Moreover, Dr. Furberg has worked as a medical professional, both as head of a department of clinical physiology and as head of an occupational health centre.

Dr. Furberg has published some 40 articles, among others in sports medicine and clinical trials, an area in which he also writes educational literature. Dr. Furberg holds a Ph.D. from the University of Uppsala, Sweden.

Member of the Board of InDex Pharmaceuticals AB. Senior medical advisor for Bactiguard AB and member of the scientific advisory board of LinkMed AB.
